Singing with Jazz Trio

Student Requirements
This class is for students interested in singing jazz styles or playing for vocalists. Instrumentalists by audition only.
Homework
Students memorize songs and study model recordings.
Cost: $285 for ten-week session - classes meet 1 to 1.5 hours weekly depending on class size.
Registration and Song Selection Process
Early registration for Singing with Jazz Trio is recommended.
To register,
send us the following:
- Three to four song requests from the Singing with Jazz Trio Approved Song List, with the keys they need to be in (tell us if you need help figuring out keys)—you may reference recordings with keys you know work for you.
- If you want to request a song not on the list, please submit the request along with any model "vocalist with small jazz ensemble" recordings you may have or can find—if you don't have recordings, we will look for acceptable model recordings—the song may or may not be accepted.
- Payment for the Singing with Jazz Trio class must be received to process your song requests and secure registration.
Each vocalist sings one or two songs. If vocalists have difficulty selecting songs, we can help.
