
Jazz Standards for Vocalists
Class members will learn and perform one to two vocal standards per week to build vocalists' repertoire for singing with any combo, and develop instrumentalists' abilities to play in all keys. Open to all ages.
Max class size: Five vocalists and four instrumentalists (piano, guitar, bass, and drums). Rhythm section size may vary and may range from piano only, to a quartet of piano, guitar, bass, and drums.

Student Requirements
Vocalists: Some previous singing experience. Instrumentalists (pitched): Ability to transpose or play by roman numeral.
Homework
One or two songs learned each week.
Cost: $200 for ten-week session - classes meet one hour weekly.
