Drums & Percussion Instructor Marshall Bilodeau has played drumset for 15 years, studied jazz and classical percussion for many years including at Central Washington University where he recieved his Bachelor of Arts in Music degree (2005). He is a Washington State certified band and choir teacher, has played in big bands and small ensembles around the Pacific Northwest, and has been a jazz educator since 2001.

Saxophone and Clarinet Instructor Charles Williams has taught, performed and led ensembles of all sizes for over thirty years and has specialized in working with beginning and intermediate students his whole career. Originally from North Carolina, he recently retired from public school teaching in the Tacoma area where he led his own popular jazz quartet for decades.

Trumpet Instructor Jay Roulston has a broad base of skills and experiences, having played and recorded many types of music (from orchestras to smooth jazz, salsa to gospel, big band to drum 'n bass) including work with The Glenn Miller Orchestra (Japan tour), Revolutionary Dream Band (France tour), and the 5th Avenue Theater Orchestra, (Seattle). With his own album, Monkey Mind Control, Jay created an "expedition into the remote regions of creative and experimental jazz." Jay has an extensive background as a teacher and clinician, focusing on elements of style, theory, and a functional approach to improvising, while tackling the tough issues of playing the trumpet.
